Hey i was just wondering if anyone that is familiar with the ka24de engine could answer my question...i have a 93 Nissan 240sx SE and when my car idles...it only runs on 3 cylinders...it is the third cylinder back that isn't firing when i start my car up...but the catch is...when i rev my car..or just go for a ride..it runs fine...so at a higher rpm than 1000 the cylinder kicks in and runs fine just like a normal car...but the thing is that when it idles it only runs on three...i've already replaced the cap/rotor/wires/plugs...so i know it isn't that...someone told me maybe its the valves or something...if anyone knows what the problem could be pleez let me know...and thanks....

i have simialr problems with my #4 cylinder. Turned out to be fried rings, valves sticking due to the cylinder not fireing right which in turn gummed up the injectors. Break down the top half get a valve job done for starters, and have your injectors cleaned.
