Can anybody help me with a lag problem

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I got a 93 coupe SE. dual cam!! It has a tearable lag in it between 1000-3000.. and at full throtle.. Has anybody elese had a bad lag proplem

haha, well from what you are saying that seems like where they torque band sucks on the ka's

they kick in right at about 3k and run strong until it hits about 6k

if its not what i described then chances are its a vaccum leak or ignition timing that is cause the lag

Yeah, mine's the same way, power is crap until 3500rpm and I have the timing set dead nut on.
