Hey guys first post I'm in the process of bringing over my second z and I'm having a slight issue i can seem to verify what year it is i have seen many posts of where the members with nissan fast were able to decode the vins i would really appreciate if some one could help me out since the car will be here in a couple of days and i wanted some sort of proof verifying that the car was intact built in 1989

Gz32003108 from what i have been told its a 1989 z32 2+2 N/A red can someone please decode it and screenshot it so i can print it out and take it with me when i go to pick up the car? i would appreciate any help i have tried calling nissan dealers and nissan of north america with no luck

There's no "decoding" to that one. G was the trim, Z32 is the chassis code, and the six numbers are the serial number. Maybe there's somewhere to look up original equipment like Ford has, but we can't decode that based on FAST criteria. The best way to tell would be to look at the sticker in the door jamb. I believe the Jspec versions had the year and month as well.

hey man thanks a lot and no the jspec ones didn't come with the year stamped on the vin plates only way to tell is from the seat belts and other panels on the interior which had manufacture dates on them.
