Hey I have a 93 coupe and I am trying to get the rear window switch to work with my front windows, I can't find a service manual for the vert. Do any of you guys know what the wire colors are that power the switch?

Welcome aboard!

I'm confused - You have a coupe? If so, your rear windows don't roll down.

Sorry - I must have missed something...

AZHitman, I thinks this guy wants to use vert quarter window switch to operate coupe front windows. It's basically relocating coupe front switchs from the door panels to center console. I'm sure he has a good reason for this.

Vert wiring diagram is in vert supplement. Someone is trying to make PDF format of it. I'm not sure, but someone might have posted wiring diagram page. Anyway, I have one, so I'll see what I can do tonight.

And there wouldn't be any wires run to the center console on the coupe. So you'd have to run wires from the doors to the console and wire the switch in.

I'm afraid to ask what this is for.

Sorry for the long post:This is because my coupe did not have power windows, I installed them with the SPAL kit with mercedes style switches that trigger a negitive to make the relays work the windows up and down. These switches were mounted to the sides of the shifter in BMW like fashion, but i changed the ebrake and it covers the drivers window switch so i replaced the dash piece with a new one ordered the new vert window switch and took the harness to it from a wrecking yard. So I wanted factory appearance so this is why i choose the vert switch. This switch works by basically hardwiring to the windows like it's own relay, so messing with it myself i got my drivers to go up and down and the passenger to only go up. If i knew what the correct positive and negitive inputs were it would make it easier. So in a nutshell I just need to know what the inputs are, if I knew what the outputs too it would be easier. Again sorry for the long post, just figured I would explain fully.

Hopefully this will help you out. It's the electrical schematic for the verts power windows along with symbol legend and their wire color codes. Good luck.PS If you download the image and open it in Photoshop or such, you'll be able to zoom in and it'll be much easier to read.
