I did my search from the archive, but I couldn't find any good info...so I'd thought I post it here.

Can any other Sony 10-Disc CD Changer unit fit into the existing factory wiring that leads back to the trunk? I think the OEM (don't quote me for this) is model CDX-5N65W. However, can any other 10-Disc Sony CD changer unit fit (i.e. CDX-5N67, CDX-52, CDX-51, CDX-715, etc.)?

SF based on your avatar, I'd say your pre-94. I have a Sony 10-Disc that came out of a running 91 (IIRC) that got the wrong end of a falling tree. I had hopes of "adaptering" it into mine, only to be convinced it couldn't happen before even trying. If you're looking for one, I've been looking to sell this one - $100 + shipping.

As for the model #'s I'll check the still in the wrapper manual and see what all parts numbers are on the front of it.

I used a protocol converter from this sitehttp://www.pie.net/to connect my OEM Honda radio to a kenwood CD changer. They have these for most makes of cars in their catalog.

However the only nissan product I saw was the Qwest! You could contact them and see if they have something forthe Infiniti.

Rex - I appreciate the offer, but I'm saving my greens for the chain guide job. FYI, I also have a local guy who will sell his for $50. I didn't present that fact as a means of negotiating (simply because I don't want to buy it at this point), but I just want to make you aware that the price you're asking is a little steep. Thanks for the feedback!
