Can an Altima 3.5 SE be swapped for a 2.5 engine

I have a 08 Altima Coupe 3.5 SE that needs a new engine. Will a 2.5 engine work and fit? I know it will lose power but i just need a cheap solution to get back on the road.

I'm not really sure, but I think you need to change the subframe too, to fit the QR25
