Hi, I have a 1990 z32 tt, I recently had Z1 motorsports modify my car. It was primarily engine work but I did get a dyno tune. I got it back about 2 months ago. It ran great. I don't drive it everyday but I started her everyday. The alarm (aftermarket) was not functioning when I got her back, nor was the turbo timer. She started right up with ease. Then about a week ago the alarm and turbo timer all of a sudden started working. When this happened, the car will not start. She turns over easily but she's just not starting. I thought it might be the fuel pump so i took it out and gave current to the motor and it works just fine. I think it might have something to do with the alarm system. I also took out one spark plug to see if I was getting spark and turns out that I was not getting spark and also not getting fuel. If someone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Revised title.

There have been lots of posts throughout NICOclub of members having issues with aftermarket equipment (usually remote starters) after having work done. More often than not, the only solution was to remove the aftermarket stuff.

talk to the persons who installed it, im currently slowly installing remote start alarm in mine its a 94 with factory key less entry and from what i have learned is the factory Nissan "alarm" does nothing i was concerned about it but once i literally unplugged it car still started fine. the lock and unlock and trunk release works great with new alarm still working on the remote start which i have mostly figured out. i have a 5 speed so its a little more complicated because i want to put a fail safe in that stops the remote start if its accidentally in gear. plus i haven't had time with my rod bearing fix i just did.
