I am wonderiong, I just got my ka24e turbo started, but it will not idle, and boggs. The only way to keep the engine on is if i keep tapping the gas, if i hold the pedal in one place, it will just die. I know i have 2 vacume leaks, 1. the small tube that used to go to the stock intake, and 2 I took my egr off and put it back on with out a new gasket, and I did not plug the part of the egr that goes back to the stock exhaust manifold, so i believe it is acting like a vacume leak. can this cause the problems that I described, or is it my mass air flow? I am attempting to run a blow threw mass air. There is one reducer infront of the mass air, from a 3 inch to a 2.5 inch. If my mass air is the problem I will just put the mass air back into the normal spot. Also i believe I have a small fuel leak from the fmu. I am currently running stock spark plugs, and my timing is at 14 degrees. what do you gus think the problem is?

i had my egr vented to the atmosphere for a while and my car idled fine.

is the other leak for the IACV? not positive if its the same on the KAE but for the DE its a tube up to the right of the throttle body that runs under the intake runners. if that is not hooked up the car will have similar problems to what you are describing

the iacv is the bigger of the 2 hoese rite? if so that one is routed to my cold pipe, there is one more smaller hose that used to go to the stock intake, I dont know weather to block it off or rout it some where
