as the tittle states can stock pistons, crank and rods handle it..I want to run 22 PSI at the track and 16 daily once the car is broken in and the turbo goes on...also i do have a lot of head work done and a cometic headgasket as well as ARP head studs..

Better question, why did you post this in the RB forum?

Sigh. With the SR the issue is not how much boost it can take as there are plenty of 500+ HP SR's on stock internals. As with any turbo car, tuning is more important than the actual amount of boost you are running. Skimp on tuning and you can blow your motor on the stock turbo at 7 psi.

It doesn't matter the amount of boost you want to run on an internally stock motor, it's all about how efficient your system is (=turbo, injectors, intercooler, etc), and the use of an engine management (such as microtech, haltech, etc etc).

I tuned a stock SR20 with a GT28, 720cc's, fmic, microtech MT-8 ecu : 11.74 sec @ 116mph @ 16-17 lbs boost.

Also a stock CA18 , 11.10sec @ 123mph on about 16lbs boost.

Most of the time it's all about the tuning.

Trims are 52 or 56. Both have .64 or .86 A/R. Most common is 56 Trim. Its the one i use. You can also go Top Mount and T3 .63 or .82 A/R for better flow to make a flatter torque curve. Not many go this route though because of cost.

The .64 will give really nice spool. Alot of guys are finding the .86 nice to drift with now. Its incredibly fast spool if you stay over 4k rpm and gives more power. I had .64 but went .86 and been happy ever since.

THATS OFF TOPIC.

but i am dubious. dont have other pics though (it's been in my dad's garage getting tlc over the winter, my SR'd coupe is my winter beater, HA!).. just a bigger one:http://recordedmemory.com/s14psports.jpg

it's an origin lab 'stylish' body kit. dont hate the panasports, I got enough flack from weeaboos who insist 18x9.5+12's are the only way to go. its a long story (notice theyre 4 lug, the s14's an SE) and i like them plenty till i find g35 wheels locally.

Upgraded it myself. Send ATPturbo.com an email about getting the 2871R .86 Turbine Housing. Costs around $250. Think its 6 bolts removed the housing then just swap and tighten the bolts back up. Very easy.
