Nada. The VQ maps are different. The DOHC KA and SR MAFS are the same IIRC, and the SOHC KA and CA MAFS are similar enough to work, but not well. The SR/KADE don't work well on the CA at all.

I'm sure the car would start and run, but it wouldn't run well.

You were running an SR/KADE MAFS on a completely unmodified ECU w/no piggyback?

for the 2 weeks my car was up and running, yes. It was an MAF i had from my redtop... worked great at 14psi boost. liked to spit and sputter below that but i think that was my compression issue

I don't think so. I was looking for this link and just found it. zerothread?id=241331That thread proves the KA-E and CA MAFS aren't the same.

I'm about 90% sure the KA-DE and SR MAFS would be even worse.

I'm sure you could hook it up and get the car to start and run, but it wouldn't run right.

No, the CA MAFS. You can use ANY MAFS you want, but if you don't burn the ecu for it, it isn't going to run well.

I would guess that the KA E is the least far off, but I'm not sure.

You would AT LEAST need a SAFC to compensate for how lean the car is going to run if you aren't running the right MAFS.

That's what I thought.

Look guys, I'm not saying that you can't put a KA-E/SR/KADE MAFS and it won't run. What I am saying is that if you do, it probably won't run well.
