Dude, do you think your going to get anything by asking the same question in a different thread? Yes you can spray. If you do it right, you won't blow it up. How big of a shot? It depends on a lot. Do I think you, who asked "where do I spray it in the block?" in your last thread is going to blow it up? Yeah, probably. You need to do a LOT of research or find some friends locally who know what their doing and hang out with them. Learn some stuff, then come back and ask some actually useful questions.

true... you can spray any engine but at a price.

NOS isnt good for any engine. it wears away your internals ALOT faster than normal.

figure out what HP you wanna make, then build your engine for AT LEAST 25% more than your goal. i wouldnt advise putting spray into any engine really, but to each his own.

a buddy of mine put an 80 shot into his B20 CRX. blew it after the first run down the track.

I agree that N20 puts more wear on your engine but I wouldnt take that harsh of a stance against it. built and tuned properly it is just as reliable as any other power adder. proper spark, the right timing, and a great tuner makes n20 very reliable.

The fact that that B20 blew up could be a million other factors, including tht b20s have the weakest sleeves of any of the bseries. I had over 60 bottles w/ 100 shot on my stock b16 with zero issues. Now that I have boost I would never go back-- but it doesnt hurt to have a little extra at the push of a button

Coming from a beginner from what i've read about nitrous is its fine if you know what you doing. 50-75 shot dry can be used on just about any engine you just have to change plugs and retard ignition. That might be an issue on an rb considering it constantly changes timing based on fuel octane.ECCS Maybe someone can clarify on that.

Anyways if you go above that you have to add fuel in some way or you will create a lean condition which means BOOM. If you run stock boost and run colder plugs i dont see it being bad. (note 50 whatever shot depends on brand ZEX NOS... some little bigger smaller)

It also depends on when you use it like compensating for turbo lag.

On a turbo engine you wanna run the wet shot. Most turbo cars need to be around the 11.5 area under full boost. If you use a dry shot your gonna take the 11.5 and go beyond 12.0 and then you'll see why nitrous can be violent. Use a Wet Shot and be sure to have a wideband so you can pick the right fuel nozzle to run. Like said before you can run up to 75 shot on stock timing. Then its a rule of thumb that every 25-50 shot after that you retard 1-2* of timing. It wouldnt hurt to talk to Mazworx about running nitrous.
