I desperately trying to get my car reasdy for a long road trip next week the thread is located at

On the third page is where things start to pick up in my troubleshooting. I need to know what could have caused this distributor to completely jump its spark timing. Especially when all the teeth and half moon connections are still intact.

I'm rtying to get answers soon as I'll be gettin parts today when I know what I need.
