can a hatch's transmission hook up to a coupes engine?

i heard as long as the cars dual over head itll be fine to switch trannys. or will there be custom fabrications to be done? a friend of mine has a dual over head 240 hatch but i have a dual over head coupe. my trannys dead and i was planning on using my friends transmission. will this bolt right in?

and i have this frame damage on the front right end where the frame shoved in towards the engine a little. will it be ok? it is frame damage but will the frame still be able to take abuse?

frame damage is pretty tough, it can rack the whole car's alignment. i wouldnt abuse it either, it will only make things much worse.

yes on the transmission. It will bolt right up.
