My daughters 1999 had a stalling problem and engine check light on problem , the dealer replaced the plugs boots and wires , a day later the engine light came on again and the engine stalled , going back to the dealer , they performed a computer reflash and it fixed everything , is this comon and what are or is a reflash of the computer?

1999 cars did not have a reproramable ecm. are you sure its not a 2000 model with a produstion date of 99? the 99 is the A32 model and the 2000 is the A33 model(the newer style) 04 is an A34
