Can a 94 q45 run off 1 injector?

94 q45.Cleaned tank ohmed injectors.Only #8 gave back a reading of 12.3 ohms the rest nothing.Replaced pump cHecked fpcu replaced filter.Fresh 93 octane.Car kicks on after a few tries.She has the death bounce but was wondering can a q run of of 1 injector?Let her run for 30minutes.ohmed injectors same thing #8 only 1 getting a reading.

Sorry if this is a double post.Cleaned fuel tank ohmed injectors only #8 gave a reading of 12.3ohms.The rest were blank.Put new pump in and fresh 93 and said what the hell fired her up after sitting for like 6 months.After a couple sputters she started.Wierd because I brought a 255 pump off ebay that she didnt like wouldnt start.She does have the death bounce.So is it possible to run a car on 1 injector?

Wow I hope no one else responds after me because I know they won't be kind.

When I hooked my Laptop Consult to the car just to have some fun I could only get the VH45DE to run on only 4 injectors. Anything less and it would stall. And I only ran it for a couple of seconds at a time. And even with four injectors evenly shut off it wouldn't run smooth.

I wouldn't recommend if you love your car to run it on 7 injectors for long if at all.

So the answer is no clearly, you must have more injectors working than one.

Well...I did drive from Delaware to Texas with 7 squirting.Changed number 8 when I got there.Alass the only reading injector is #8.Ofcourse this is after the C.L.R treatment I gave her after drinking a lill to much fire water.The dam c.l.r is supposed to combat rust but it made it in tank.

There wouldnt happen to b any one near Delaware lookn to make some money now would they?$$$$..In all fareness I did write her off and got a rodeo,after fixing her fuel gage all is good.But i do miss my black Q!

I can't imagine it running on only one injector... Try ohming numbers 1 and 2 directly at the injectors, since they're accessable.

Either way all that converted rust has to go somewhere right?

Research what effects CLR has on rubber and plastic if you ballsy.

Oops..Just didnt feel right admitn that one lol.Now Im getting readings from 12.38to 125.ohms on 3 squirters,the rest are blank.But I stripped injector#2 screws..sigh
