I want a new look, can a 1994 Q45 spoiler (wing) be put on a 1993 Q45? Is my 1993 trunk contoured the same as the 1994 spoiler and trunk? Please comment ASAP the item is about to end on eBay!!

Yes, but you will need harness, springs, and different brake light controller box.

You need a different brake sensor assy to make it work. You need to order p/n 28425-60U21 (from Touring package). It costs $85 from Joe or look for used one.

The springs Brian refers to are for the trunk lid. It's going to be a lot heavier with the spoiler and will slam shut hard if you don't hold it when closing. The sensor has already been explained but if you leave the 3rd brake light and spoiler both plugged in you'll get no error message. The unused plug for the spoiler light is on the harness laying under the trunk trim of every Q so you won't need to purchase that either.

The parts you do need are a pair of one-time use fasteners for the top edge of the spoiler, a gasket that goes around the outside edge, and a trunk lock gasket. These may or may not be attached to the used spoiler you bought. All the other rubber gaskets, washers, 8mm nuts, and screws can be purchased at your local Ace Hardware for 1/20 the cost of what the stealership will sell them to you for.

There's a parts diagram in the Body section of the 94 FSM and a search through the archives should bring up all the P/N's and plenty of conversation from different member's installs.

I vividly remember that the hardest part of the whole job was drilling the first hole through the trunk lid. After that, pretty easy.
