Can 91 240sx kat pass smog test?

I am wondering if a 91 240sx with a turbo set-up with 270hp would pass an emmisions test. The engine is currently stock except for after market headers. It has recently passed an emmisions test.

It depends on how strict your emissions testing is, how good your motor is running, how the car is tuned, how much emissions stuff you left in....

The honest answer: Yes, a 91 kat can pass smog test..

you would need to get a good tune and run a bit leaner when doin the inspection.

reatd your timiung and make sure the engine is very warm. Add denatured alcohol to the gas. Should pass with flying colors.

If your state err.. territory has a visual inspection it wont pass a smog test because it will fail upon inspection, but it can pass an emissions test.
