ok i have an s13 redtop sr20det and i want to do the head (valve train) i plan on getting new"performance" valves, retainers, springs, rocker arms, cams, cam sprockets, AND i want to change to solid lifters. i been looking at the brian crower cams 264's for both intake and exhaust but i dont know if they will work with the ToMEI solid lifters. any idea if this setup will work???

i dont see why it wouldnt work. each item would still be doing its own job.

what you could do is email BC or Tomei to see if theyre compatible with one another.

but, like i said, i dont see why they wouldnt be.

my 2c.

hey thanx for the info bro. the reason why i asked is because the tomei cam's say to choose from lash type cams for hydraulic lifters or the solid type for solid lifters

Lash type cams are designed with hydrolic lash adjusters in mind. solid type cams are designed with solid pivots instead of the HLAs.
