im rebuilding my motor soon and would like to put in lightend flywheel and some cams and found a person on ebay that regrinds cams to jim wolfs specs and was wondering if that would be good mid range cam i would love to have the lopey sound that comes with them that would probally make my day. been trying to find other companys but havent really had any luck. so i guess what im trying to ask is 3 questions.

Does anybody have a link to aftermarket cams for the ka?

Could i run the stock springs with cams?

and does anybody know if regrinds are good or bad?

http://www.turbo240.com for the cams. not sure if they any in at the moment but they did have crower v2 and v3 cams. pdm also does cams for our cars so look into them also.

u can run stock springs with the crower v2 cams. all other cams i think need upgraded springs and retainers.

Ideally, you would have some fuel control on your car with cams or any of the other modificatioins that you are doing in order to gain the most from them.

You do not need to run springs with the V2 cams.

Is the car NA or turbo?

with billet cams, they are new camshafts, with regrinds, you may have to machine your camshaft bearing cap/towers, you have to speak to the manufacturer of that camshaft to see if they reccomend it or not though.

one example is hybridka.com's regrind cams require milling the camshaft bearing caps unless you upgrade to their sold lifters which are adjustable.

good camshaft info you might be interested in reading
