Camshafts mixed up.

I removed my cams a little while ago, and mixed them up a little bit, and now I can't remember which one was the exhaust one, and which is the intake! Is there a way to tell the two apart?

I would also like to know how to determine my shim sizes.

The intake cam has a green stripe painted on it, the exhaust has a reddish-orange stripe on it. Or at least mine did.
