Does anybody know what size wrench we need to put over the spot on the camshaft to be able to hold then to say torque down the cam gears? I'm going to go get one today but I thought I'd ask since I searched and didn't find it on here anywhere.

Thanks!

That's what I was going to buy, but I took the old cam into Advance Auto and walked out with an Autocraft 1" Wrench and it fit. I'm thinking a 26mm wrench will fit better though (1 1/32")

ANSWER - 1" or 26mm wrench :)

Oh, just a heads up too, when you're doing this, don't let the wrench rest up against the outside of the head when it turns. It can deform the area of the head where the valve cover sits and make it really hard to get the valve cover to seal. I've never done it on a CA, but I have done it on a KA. NOT fun.
