so, some months ago i found out that my cylinder head was completely ephed. warpage, valves burnt (even intakes), etc. i finally got around to getting a new complete head from Clearwater CylinderHead Inc (so far, their service was great). the only thing is when they put together the head, the camshaft 90 degrees after tdc. i need a a way to turn the camshaft (without buyin the 'special tool' thats effective an wont break anything. any suggestions im open to. but i gotta get this done like quick-fast :P

I am confused, is the head installed on the motor? If not simply turn the cam gear bolt.If it is installed, things get fun. You can either jump the chain a couple of links at a time, or remove the chain from the cam gear and turn the cam via the cam bolt.

Just so you know in the future, you can use an old timing chain to make a chain whip just for such things.
