Camshaft sensor continuity

Can someone tell me how to test continuity on the harness for this sensor? I'm not very smart when it comes to auto electronics. I'm trying to figure out if my camshaft sensor needs replaced.

I get a code P0340 but the resistance seems OK as stated in my Chiltons. However, in the manual it asks to test for continuity between ground and the black/white wire on the harness. How do I do this?

Get your volt meter, and you put the meter on the OHM setting, and then probe the 2..... It should read the same thing as when you touch the 2 probes right ot each other.
