Ok, I was researching this a few days ago and read ALL the threads on here and searched elsewhere, and I found a place that has KAE regrins for $250+ core, but now cannot locate it again, does anyone know where this might be?

And 4x4parts.com has a cam shaft for the KAE since they came in Nissan trucks, it's .402"/270* (same as Nismo one, no?), but will this fit directly, and *perfectly* with no changes what so ever into a 240sx KAE? here is the link: http://www.4x4parts.com/public...8132b

If anyone knows a place that has billet cams for under or around 400 or regrinds for under 200, let me know, I am looking for atleast .5"/248 or .402"/260ish. Thanks.

you have to send your old ones to them.... that is what they use to make the new ones with. just like with your starter or alternator.... most motor parts are like that....

So they send you the $250 back once you send them your old cam?

Yes. and the JWT cam is $395 if I recall, and I seem to remember hearing it's not too special either...but i'll look into it again.

i give the pdm c404.h two thumbs up :thumbup . it is an excellent regrind. im using it in my current setup. 4800-6000 rpm pull much quicker. works great with the rest of my n/a setup. i sent my core in prior and paid 200 for the cam (they reground mine actually) be sure to send in a perfect core. pdm although in canada is a great business to deal with.
