Hi i'm having an extremely difficult time locating the Camshaft Position Sensor. The manual i have is for pathfinders which has been extremely helpful in bring my car back from the dead. That said the manual says that this particular sensor is located in the back right part of the engine near the tranny bellhouse...(im abbreviating as i don't have it on hand) I spoke with my dealer and it said it was inches away from the right rear oxygen sensor...again i checked and i couldnt locate it.

i can't seem to find anything on the net about it either...

any thoughts on where it is?

Also on those cars they have a camshaft position sensor and a crankshaft position sensor.. They are located in different places and are of different importance. most times nissan puts the cam position sensor up front, at least on ones Ive seen so be sure to verify with the factory manual that Heath linked!
