Camshaft for the KA?

Alright, I did search, so just to clear that up before anything...

So from what I have found, the only cams offered for the KA24DE are the Brian Crower, stage 2 264/264 or stage 3 272/272.

Anyone know if there are any other options?

What is everyone's experience with the stage 2?

And, final question. In preparation for going turbo, if adding cams to the n/a engine to break them in before, is any tuning needed?

Just for familiarization, getting a S14 when I get back from overseas... Looking to build it up decently before going turbo, try to get it done right so it can reliably support and run about 350 at the wheels for a dd. Still looking for turbo options, but hoping to get spool up around 3k or so, I am planning on a nice linear powerband.

don't have any exp with the cams, in fact I kind of have the same question, but i think the turbo you are looking for is a gt2871r, its good up to about 400hp from what I have heard and you should be getting full boost by 3k.

Yeah, thats one option I have looked into turbo wise. I want the ability to pump up the boost to get around 400 whp as well, but I don't want it to turn my turbo to a hair dryer in doing so.

There are other cams out there besides Brian Crower ones, but I've never heard anything bad about them. I actually have a set of 264/264s on their way to my door right now. I'm not entirely sure if they'll stand up to 400whp, but thats not my goal. Search around some more if you want other options, but you shouldn't have a problem with those, plus they're relatively easy on that wallet in comparison to some others.
