Ok, my ****ty Chilton only shows the sequence for the altima which has one extra cap on one of the cams (possibly for alternator?). So if anyone would be so kind as to give me the LOOSENING sequence for my s13 ka24de I will reward them with my first born child. I'll even give you a diagram to fill out:

___________EXHAUST_______________

why would you do any of this without a FSM? Do you know what specs to torque those things to? Payin $75 for a FSM is an investment.

8 ft. lbs. on the cap bolts.

The outter most cap on the exhaust side (the one that should be labeled 1 and 2 on the Chilton's) you just skip. Start on number 3, and go from there.

I've never had a problem with the Chiltons...

Just small things like the pictures are usually for altima and sometimes the bolts are slightly different (like the valve cover, or this). Just kinda worries me, especially since this is my first full rebuild.

Just use your best judgement... it's an engine, not rocket science.
