cams worth it???

i am currently sporting the sr20 redtop and have been looking into some internal upgrades and saw that hks had stage 2 cams for our car, i was wondering if the hp gain would be worth the $400.....i was told to expect about a 20-30 hp gain from the cams and if that is true then i feel this would be a good upgrade. keep in mind i am still running the t25 with a hybrid fmic and many other mods

With stock turbo I think Step 1s are good enough. I believe 5-10WHP is a more reasonable number. If you are planning to get a BIGger turbo, then I'd go to Step 2s. When properly tuned, cams will help alot, but remember, with more aggressive cams, you will idle pretty poorly.
