Buddy, thats $463usd per cam I take it ?
stock ca18det exhaust cam has the same lift & duration as the 'hard to find' ca16 inlet cam, -except- you need an adjustable cam gear (or modify the stock one) in order to 'dial in' the correct "valve timing".Some say the ca16 inlet cam switch yield minimal gains only.
TMS posted a link to an RB adjustable cam gear maker who would look into ca18. Dunno what became of that.If not, maybe NST could do some for the ca18 like their 4AG piece.simple and looks good .....$150/pair. Should be ez to make. (only thing I'd change is move the adjuster bolts outward, closer towards the circumference)

On the other hand, a 'performance' intake-cam-only swap showed ca18 considerable gains, according to those who done it (on sxoc).I posted a link to a 493hp 1.8L miata showing ~40hp at the wheels by only swapping the intake cam. Thats substantial. It was a u.s. cam grinder, but FM didn't want to release the company name just yet.I believe Dee got colt to offer a performance grind but haven't seen much feedback.
Japanese big name cams consistently produce quality results. Not the case with "off brands". I've seen TOO many disappointing results. If you think a *quality* cam is as simple as grabbing any 'performance' grind... guess again. Look how long it took the DSM community to come up with an "HKS equal"! Despite having the HKS benchmark in hand to copy.... read the Web & Crower cam issues.I think it was Competition cams? that finally came up with $440 "direct drop-in" cams on par with the $700 HKS - so we know its possible. It would be a helluva lucky strike to nail a ca18 grind 1st try... unless the 'right grinder' was consulted.
