alright so i am building my ka for a future turbo and doing things right with all the forged internals, acid dip, ect. ect. i have not found any cams that i really think are going to be the right setup. i am wanting an overall power goal or around 300 on low boost 7-8psi, any anwhere around 350 for the crazy boost settings of 14-22psi which wont be hard on the t3/t4 setup. so really what cams are out there and what are the best for street car 80% of the time and strip car the other 20% of the time?

First off for 300 hp on 7-8psi you are going to have to be running a very large turbo which that 300 hp would not be noticed because of lag until about 5k rpms, as far cams there are many streetable cams if you search, you could just get a set of brian crower V2's which would be a good streetable and give you a good hp improvement for a good price.

i know that its going to be a real laggy turbo but im going to do all the supporting mods and everything i can to get the power up as high as possible before the turbo goes on. the turbo will depend on what power im making at that point.

Any other suggestions on brands or even better cams. price is not an issue to me at all. as my signature says......i want a fast and reliable car and i know it WONT be cheap

I'm in the same boat, only minus the hp goals. Looking to build it right the first time so I don't have to redo anything when I boost it. What cams can I use to run NA during engine break in and to drive on NA till I get my plans for the turbo setup straight?

Get my set-up for turbo look at top at the sticky LEt me know if oyu need engine parts as well. Got a supplier about to place an order soon.
