Cams from sohc in a dohc

hello, I was wondering will the cam of a 89 240sx fit in a dohc as the exhaust cam? Thanks in advance.

nope, the SOHC cam has 8 lobs and the DOHC cams have 4 on each. Or at least thats what i have been told. :confused:

If you are looking for a cam upgrade on your 98 KA, two exaust cams from a 1991 240sx will work. One of the cams has to be redrilled to fit the intake side.

can't i just use one exhaust cam from the 91 with my OEM 98 intake cam?

sure you could do that, but you wont get as much power.
