i was looking around for some prices on cams and camshafts for rb25, and i got a great offer for some cam gears, but is it wirth it to do the gears which are adjustable or the camshafts first ? has anyone done any headwork to their 25 ? including valves and so on ?

the gears are a waste of money without a camshaft IMO

gears are a cheap way to get good power gains, lots of aussie guys have thrown adjustable exh gears on their rb25's and gotten great results tuning the stock cams.course a set of cams never hurt anyone.

Actually using just the exhaust cam gear to adjust timing (either -4 or +4) makes a BIG difference. Check SAU or SD.
