Sounds like you have more of a toe angle problem then camber. Get those tension rod bushings replaced.

HaHa... on the tension rods of course...

They come off of the control arm and they have big round things on the end.... sort of like a lollipop... you will most likely see some crushed rubber bushings in the lollipop part

Something is obviously loose. Get under there and start wiggling things and see what moves/makes noise. I have never heard a "clank" when I stop, maybe some grinding or squealing, or a "clunk" but not a "clank" (metal on metal), usually if it is a clunk it is because of something being loose, or bushings being bad.

Again, jack up the car and just wiggle some stuff around. You will probably find something that moves that shoudnt move. When you do... fix it.

clanks during braking is typical of the tension rod bushing. When braking, the tension rod is basically the only thing keeping the front lower control arms straight. The bushings may have burst a while ago and the silicone filling long since oozed out. I'd take a gander at the bushing at the tension rod a little closer.

My tension rod bushing was bad and I still heard no "clank"

Maybe my "clunk" is your "clank" but a clank to me is a distinct metal hitting metal

Anyway, yeah my suspension did make a lot of noise before I replaced my tension rod bushings, there was a rubber squeaking noise associated with that same problem as well

you need to get new tie rods for sure, my car made the same "clunk" noise for a while, then my tie rod blew on the freeway, not cool. Get those changed asap and align it afterwards, because if you get adjustable ones its hard to set your toe correctly, and bad toe angles will **** up your tires.
