Hey guys,

Just a quick question... I just recently installed my Eibach pro springs in my 2.5. I just had it aligned at a shop that is usually really good at alignments and I've never had a problem. I was told by the technician that my rear camber is still off due to the springs. he said he adjusted it as much as he could but that it was still leaning in towards the car more than it should... Anyone have this same problem with these springs? I'm not extremely worried about it because its not way off but I'm pretty sure my tires in the rear are gonna wear a little funny being like this... Any info would be appreciated. And btw if anyone is wondering it definitely dropped WAY more than what its predicted to drop i've probably gotten close to 2 inches all around after it settled.

Thanks,Josh

Did you drive it for a week to break it in before doing the alignment?

nah I've been driving it since sunday but I drove almost 300 miles in the past two days i figured that would be enough time. I would think the longer I wait the lower its gonna settle right?

Someone else that knows more about cambers will probably chime in but I thought from a long while back when the eibachs came out and folks got alignments that our camber is actually off a tad bit with a little (-) negative camber and thats how our cars are suppossed to be.

Thats what I remember anyway. Do a search for Eibach and you'll find loads of threads.

max is right. There is a little bit of a negative camber but it shouldn't be a lot.

fyi the camber does not have to be at zero..there is a range it can be in to be within spec..the shop should kno wat the range is...i wouldnt worry about it much if u jus have the prokit on there

Its not like a VIP's crazy camber... but it is a little off...

The good news is that its very slightly off, and that after many miles... no one to my recollection has brought up any uneven tire wear or any other side-effects from it.

sorry to sort of thread jack but since were talking about the eibachs, hows the ride quality with them? i know someone went all out with springs, endlinks, sway bar, strut bar, and rims and complained it was unbearable. how about the springs alone?

unbearable that on ones opinion the springs by them selves on a 2.5 are what the car should have been from stock. im mean a friend of mines stock si rides harsher then my 2.5. with the 3.5 with the stiffer shocks it might be a little harsher but not by much. also if your performance oriented it wont feel it as harsh but a better connection with the road. add both stability bars and endlinks it does get a little tighter but not enough for me to complain. but all i do alot of highway driving and they repave i-75 like every weekend so its as smooth as a babys bottom.in the end there is nothing like coming around a corner sliding the car cause the tires suck

right now my weakest link are my tires so i cant tell you the full extent of the suspension improvement since the tires give out before i max the suspension out

Its no problem its somewhat on topic, I don't think the ride is that harsh and the roads around here suck major a$$. i think it definitely improved on handling but like Zerep said i haven't put my rims back on with my Toyo T1Rs so i don't know the full extent of the suspension yet.
