hey everybody...

so i got a djustable front and rear and my question is in regards to front and rear camber

if u adjust thr ruca to create camber will it affect toe at all by just adjusting that?

also, if i adjust at the top hat in the front for camber will it affect my toe either?

the reason im asking is im getting wheels real soon and im gonna be lowering my car and will moste lkely need to give some negative camber to fit them (0 at the moment) lol

thanks everybody

usually when you do any suspension work and when you get new wheels you should get an alignment so if your toe is affected just get it realigned.

It shouldn't, but you should get it aligned anyways.

Camber changes will affect toe, but I think it's only in the rear. I don't remember why specifically, can anyone confirm?

I mean, it technically shouldn't, but I've never worked on a 240 so I don't know for sure. Camber and toe work in different directions (if that makes any sense lol).

What size and offset are the wheels? You might be able to get away with just a roll or pull on the fenders if they're not too low of an offset.

Camber DOES affect the toe. Matter of fact, I think it affects caster as well.

More so in the rears than the front. Fronts aren't so much noticeable... but the rears will be definitely noticeable. Make sure and get an alignment, otherwise you'll be wasting tires

the wheels are 16x8 plus 0

and i might need to run a small spacer too so yea

the fronts were a good bit higher than the rears making it look squatted so i lowered the front a small bit so that the front and the rear appear even with eachother

when i get the wheels and tires the should sit at about the same hight and ill adjust the body and the camber and height as needed from there and then swap in some project silvia inners and outers and get it aligned

it definitely affects it. i have pbm coils and when i lowered the car, had like mad camber and once i got my winter tires i needed more of a patch of contact. so i adjusted my ruca's to about 0 camber and have stock toe/traction/all other bars and when i set the car down had crazy toe out. so if you adjust to 0 camber you will probably need toe arms to offset the change and have 0 toe. this also depends on how low the car is, obviously the higher the car the less amount of change will occur.

just my small input/experience on this.

yea well adjustability isnt a problem for me i have a fully adjustable suspension all around

i slammed the car one time (frame 10mm off the ground) and i had some intense a** problems with stuff so im warey of slaming more than is reasonable

but yea lowering it should achieve toe out for front and back thanks for the info
