just got the car fixed .. i lost it and hit a curb .. at first the camber was fully positive and the lower control arm was bent , i got a new control arm welded on and now the camber is still slightly positive so it kinda makes my wheel stick out.. when i got it back from the shop my steering wheel is not lined up . The guy said to be sure to get an alignment but i dont think they will align the rear wheels and adjust the camber for me.. i have adjustable camber . what should i do ?

much help would be appreciated

before

after fix

this is the left side thats fine

its kinda hard to tell but it almost seems like it pivited to the right and out with positive camber i have more pics

also should i just take off the steering wheel and line it back up or what ?

I would adust the camber if I could, thats kindof alot. really you could do it by eye if you look at it like in the photo, but also look at the front tire and compare.. in the air of course. that tire will be done in 6 months or less

I had this exact same problem after hitting a curb.I sold my car before I did anything, nothing was bent though. When you hit the curb the alignment got jerked out of proportion. All you need is an alignment.I'm sure if you explain to the shop dude this;"Hey, do a Negative Camber"--"No, it'll cause uneven tread wear, causing faster tire wear""Which means I'll be back soon to fork out more money so do it"But no, alignment is all that needs done.If you have the wheel straight does it turn to the left slightly? if so, we had the exact same problem. Lol

hahaha sweet good to hear light at the end of this F*** tunnel hahahah it kind of has a null zone when when driving it almost seems like i barely turn it and the damn thing jerks but that might just be cuz the steering wheel is now kind of turned slightly ( it wasnt like that when i took it to the shop) anyway im going to take it back and try to get a free alignment out of those douches hahahah how much do those things run and can i get a full camber job and alignment at a regular ol jiffy lube or do i need to go to a local shop like spl performance ? also what kind of price am i looking at ?

I had the same problem, I adjusted the camber all the way to neg and still same results. Took it to get aligned and they said you shouldn't cuz your rear might drag and other s*** like that. And told me to bring it to a body shop so they can look at the frames if everything is in spec. So that's what I'm about to do.
