i sold some JIC camber plates to a friend and he tried to put them on his stock suspension and he saying that the strut bolt is to skinny and when he put the camber plate on it just wiggled around , , could it be that there only for coil overs ?

i got them from a friend , i have tanabes on my car , and never had anything else but coilovers so yea ??

i thought u can use camber plates on the stock struts or do you need stock strut camber plates? if there is such a thing

someone told me to look at camber plate upper hats but the company that sells them say they are for coilovers

any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

You cannot use Upper Pillow Ball Mounts on stock shocks. But you can use H&R Camber Bolts.

Your telling the guy to machine his own part out of nothing? Why dont you be more useful and tell us how your ka wrist pin worked , with some info and pics.

I am being more useful, you told him he couldnt use them, I did and how.

use a machine or multiple machines to cut a single ka wrist pin in half, take a bit off each half. Then take said left over from each half, put on lathe or man up like I did and cut on your bench grinder. thin the outside of the pin till its IDK say the inside diam of the camber plate bushing. But be sure to leave about 5mm of the pin for the pillow ball to sit.

I know cusco sells the parts but I had a few pins laying around and the diam was perfect for my cusco plates. hint would be to look at the adapter in the links for an idea of wtf I'm talking about... and no pics, I'm in the middle of a 00 jimmy ceramic pad slap, and diagnosing my own major issues on the s13 , any ideas on why my 75 amp keeps blowing?

I still dont see how aftermarkt Upper Pillow Ball Mounts will seat propely on a stock shock. I want to see pics.

The stock seat is just huge.

This is an Upper Mount. Put on a stock shock that was at our shop for ****s and giggles just to see and it did not seat properly at all.
