I recently replaced a tie rod end on my 90 Q45. When i had the alignment done, they told me the camber was out and there is no adjustment. My question is; which suspension parts affect the camber? And how do i check these parts? Thanks.

Mainly the upper links, you may need to replace your upper links.

Frequently just replacing the upper links doesn't return camber to perfection, it can improve things signifiicantly, however.

Important to know the exact measured camber so that a supplemental plan can be developed to deal with any remaining excess.

Third links and lower control arms can be bent worn and need replacing.

Eventually you get it as close to right as you can afford, then just replacing the upper links periodically keeps it that way.

It is possible to shim out up to 0.5 degree in excess camber with washers between upper link mount and shock tower as a final resort.

Thanks for your replies. I'll start with the upper links, and go from there.

And go to a different shop for your alignment.

They should have tested for play in the upper links before they aligned it.

You're right! I've had bad luck with front-end places around here. It seems to be charge first then tell you there's something else wrong. I tried to check the links myself before taking it in, but i''m just not experienced enough with this type of suspension.
