Hi, I just finished putting in KYB AGX shocks & megan springs in my s13 convertible. I was wondering, do i need a camber kit? If i do, do i need to buy a camber kit for each shock/wheel? Are eibach camber kits good?I lowered my car 2", so does that mean i need to get camber kit(s) that specifically work for cars that are lowered 2" ?

Thanks,Daniel

Welcome to NICO!

And to answer your question, this isn't your mom's Honda, so no.

The Megan springs shouldn't lower your car enough to really effect camber a great deal. If for some reason your camber is greatly effected than you could purchase a set of pillow mount tops for the front struts and a set of adjustable RUCAs (Rear upper control arms) for the back.

Shouldn't be a problem though, I've seen plenty of 240s on Eibach Sportlines that didn't require the use of RUCAs.

You should look at getting a set of RSR springs or ST springs... I'm sure the Megan springs are progressive and lower the car too much, which would negate any improved handling characteristics you might have a chance to gain.

Ok, and ignore my above comment because apparently you already installed them?

So go outside, look at the camber and see if it looks like its too negative.

Nope, you won't need a camber kit for a mild drop

thanks guysso let me get this straight,

1. i don't need a camber kit unless i see the camber is excessively negative/positive

2. the megan springs lower my car 2"... it negates the handling gain i would have had? : (

oh well... regardless, it will be better than running blown shocks : )

thanks again
