camber bolt help

Does the camber bolt go on the top or bottom? The camber bolt kit I got from the local parts store looks smaller than the original bolts. I know what the camber bolts do and how they work. I just have not put one in a Versa before. DO I need the additional adapter plate mentioned in the bolt kit for a Versa? Pictures are appreciated.
