Hello!
Currently rebuilding a vg30dett from the ground up. Wanna install new cams as well. I found out that Z’s have 4 cams. Will changing all four do anything more performance wise than just two? Are they all the same size? What degree in/ex is best for 450-500hp? Help.
Thanks!

I mean, you could just install intake or exhaust cams, but I'm not sure what the point would be. You'd be limited by the other set. An engine is basically an air pump, and the more air you can flow, the more power you can make, as long as there's supporting factors. Most performance cams require solid lifters and upgraded valve springs in this car. JWT is a good brand to look into.

HOWEVER, you can easily break the 450hp mark with stock cams and lifters.

Upgraded cams alone for the VG are useless unless you are looking for peak HP.
Adjustable cam gears are needed to increase power in all rpm ranges.

This.
The OEM cams are probably just fine up to and past 500 HP, no need to spend precious $$$ there.
