Cam Upgrade

I know this has probably been gone over but i searched "cam upgrade" and nothing came up.

I looking to upgrade the cam in my SOHC KA to give it more power and torque throughout the entire RPM range. My upgrades are, Cold air intake, headers, and a test pipe in place of the cat. Im not looking to set any land speed records, just pick up 15-20 HP. Is there such a cam a or should i leave it alone?

there are serveral cam reginders who still do SOHC camsColt, and nismo still offers a few. Boston Cams and CamsNortheast did a mild regrind for me that seems to work well though i can't tell you an exact increase in power because i haven't had it dynoed. search TRIFLOW CAMS.i have a full race cam for SOHC engine for solid lifters if you get to that stage.goodluck

Thanks i'll search. Im not going solid with this car. Im just looking for something to throw in quick when i do the valve cover gasket. Thanks!!

check out the nismo r4 cam its a lil pricy but it should give you all and more than what you are looking for

I heard Webcam makes solid race cams for the sohc kae

DOHC does not make na power any more then the sohc. It would end up costing more to get the two cams then one also so in this case that doesnt make any since.

Im am also building my sohc ka, not looking for huge amounts of power. Im looking into running high compression, ITB's and a cam. I havnt looked into any cams so ill check the ones these guys have posted but you might want to check this out.

Using ITB's off a suzuki gsxr 750 and a tune he makes 155whp in a completely stock dohc ka, not even rebuilt. Pretty cool in my book, idk how interesting that is to you though.
