I'm going to beat everyone to the punch and just say Tomei PONcams. As far as I know, they are the main replacement bump-sticks people use. Jim Wolfe may have some, and RB26 may work.. (haven't looked into it yet). I know for a fact that Brian Crower has no intention of producing them, that is what he said to me on the phone a few months ago, but I bet with enough people asking for them he could start.

Cam Gear -- again, Tomei adjustable cam gears.

Try nengun.com, they have all sorts of JDM parts and accessories.

Search around, What are your power goals? I know ChaosTheXile has a high HP RB25, CarlH, BronzeMFP, etc. Just look around mang!

I'm running HKS cams and Tomei valve springs. Damn I love the sound of the idle.

If you have an RB25 please just get the exhaust cam gear. The intake comes with a few other issues that most people don't bother messing with. Once you get to tuning your ignition timing buy it, but before that I wouldn't bother with one. I have one, but haven't had a chance to tune anything with it yet. Looks cool, but until you tune it is pointless.

Chaos' little nismoogle project is a joke. That thing isn't putting any power down. He basically lied about his dyno numbers and when Carl H called him out on it, he just let his thread die. I don't even know if he got it running.

i personaly dont care for hks cams and would go with tomei, lopey idle isnt for me...i'd rather have a smooth idle with an evil exhaust note.as for bronze mfp having a high hp car, the motor is damn near stock (rb20) except for upped boost, 550cc injectors, and a tuned ecu i did up.

256 Duration and 8.8mm lift. Any more than 8.8 mm lift and you're looking at some head work to get the cams to clear the casting. When I installed mine I didn't think they would fit at first because it was so tight.

It isn't just your valve springs though. You will need to take material out of the inside of your head to allow that high lift cam to rotate. Otherwise it will try to spin once and end up snapping because it will run into the head before it even gets to the lifter.

well anything more than 9mm of lift will require the use of a die grinder on the head to relieve it abit to clear the cam lobes...not hard with the head off the car but cams like that require solid lifters.

yeah like carl said, my setup is pretty stock. stock turbo that i have a 14psi deathwish for, apex filter, 3" elbow, downpipe and exhaust, 550cc injectors and a light flywheel and thats about it. it's quick and its fun, but high HP it is NOT. still scares hona kids and puts new 350z's and g35's in their place though so i'm not complaining. And did I mention it's been 100% reliable for over a year now too? time to shut up, i think i may have just cursed myself.

It's ok man. We all know you are lying. I mean anyone can say that they made xxx amount of power on the forums. But damn man, you even said it yourself, you really have no clue.
Chaos the Xile wrote:Look man I dont truly know what the issue was this is just what my tuner was telling me, I'm not as well verse in this like you are when it comes to ever aspect of the car, so when I get the right answer and the results and what happened I will let you know, so I can show you the power is real also the problems...

Nobody is making a big deal out of it but you. Your prolly a 16yr old high school kid thats just dreaming of his license and that RB car that you wish you had the $$ to build!

That spec sheet reads almost indentical to our RB25, but we have 264 cams in it and are making 603hp at the wheels on a hub dyno.Looks like you have a bit more work to go, or need a better tuner.....10.6 quarters to back it up in a std R33 GTS25t body.Dyno runs shoing 17psi, and the 19psi with cam gear changes.
