cam shaft and ecu upgrade

hey everyone. i was thinking of getting hks cam shaft steps 1 intake 256 and exhaust 264. my question is do you have to upgrade ecu for the camshafts? thanks.

NO YOU DON'T... BUT TO MAXIMIZE THEIR EFFECTS YOU SHOULD.

i mean i will upgrade the ecu later on when i get turbo upgrade. but i will be putting in a new hg and since im in there i can do the cams + ras. its just i dont have money to do all of them right now.

ooh and would this also damage my motor in any ways? would this also change my idle?

No it will not damage your engine, and it might make the idle a little lumpy, just raise it a few hundred RPM and it will smooth out.
