Cam question

A buddy of mine is givin me his ka24de since he's swapping to a sr20, but he gave the exhaust cam to a friend for his 240..im wondering if my cam from my ka24e will work in place of the ka24de exhaust cam

cam from the E motor won't work for the DE motor. The reason your friend gave an exhaust cam is probably for 248/248 cam combo for top end.

so ill have to get an exhaust cam =/ i was hopin that i could piece the E and DE to get the DE runnin, only thing's wrong with my E is the compression in the 1st cylinder is around 50 lbs..and the other 3 are around 160lbs..im new the mechanics so idk what this means..that and no matter what i always seems out of time, just a little, can't get it all the way in time
