OK, i am buying new cams, someone told me to go with the biggest cam i can find, so i was going to get the 272's. But then someone told me that if i bought those and a leight weight flywheel, i would have a hard time keeping it from dieing at stop signs and stuff. But the other guy said that i would just have a big lope at idle and that the bigger cam would be better. So i'm confused, can i get more opinions please.

And also, i just bought some CP 9.1 pistons, would the Brian crower rods work with those? Thanks

Just get another exhaust cam from a junkyard, and run two exhaust cams. Supposedly that noticeably improves the performance at higher rpm's, and you can spend your cam money on an aluminum driveshaft and lightweight pulleys, which will most likely free up more hp than new cams.

if you get the 272's(crower v3's i believe) you will have to modify the cylinder head in order to be able to install'em, those also require aftermarket valve springs and what not.

i'd get the V2's(264) as those don't require mods to the head, and costs $316 or so from enjuku or brian crower himself.

also the crower rods can go with the cp pistons, so long as both are made for the ka24de.

(man i'd love to get some v2's)
