cam question...

Just looking at cams and I've figured out what most of the cam jaron means now, where can I go to put this info to work for me what's a good sight that will have info on what certain lifts and durations will mean interms of performance, I'm going for a high reving circuit engine, hp will go up as I learn to drive so big numbers aren't an issue right now. Thanks!

life= amount the valve opens... duration time it opens..basically the longer it is open and the amount it opens the more hp at high rpm..but u lose low rpm hp and idle as u go to extreme durations
