cam problems???(wierd problem)

ookay so i just installed my cams and i went to put on my valve cover and it wont go on and when looking at my engine without the valve cover on i noticed that my intake cam is 1/4 in. to long, everything matches up fine install went in with out a hitch except this one, has anyone else this or did i get a differant cam then i need?

Do you the Crower V2s or V3s? The V3s require machining of the head (I haven't heard of anyone having to machine the valve cover). Make sure you can rotate the cams without any interference.

i have th V2's, i know cause the V3's are a "race" cam everything rotates fine nothing gets caught anywhere. its just that my intake cam is like a 14 in. to long so i think i got a wrong cam.
