Alright Ive got a few questions that may have been answered but I couldnt really understand. I was driving my 95 s14, I was going about 70 on the interstate and my car shut off, I pulled over to the side of the road and opened the hood and low and behold there was a hole in my valve cover. Once I got it home I opened up the valve cover and found that the timing sprocket on my intake camshaft broke off and shot through my valve cover. Suprisingly it did no damage to the head internally. Well anyway I bought all the replacement parts, I also bought a upper chain tentioner cause im not sure if that was broke or not. How will i go about putting the camshaft/ crankshaft in TDC to replace the cams if the timing chain is not tense.

rotate crank clockwise until #1 at TDC (second mark from the left on pulley) it may be painted yellow. check #1 cam lobes they should both be pointing out.
