Cam problems help please

I have a 91 240 and broke a cam i bought 2 95 model cams one is green and one orange i,ve heard this both ways on here which is intake and exhust i have them put on my head green intake orange is this right .also my clearance on the shimes are off on intake will i have to get more shimes .thanks for all the advice on here a real help guys.

Well you have your cams in backwards... Green is your exhaust and orange is your intake. Common sense would tell you otherwise(green you would associate with clean air and orange with exhuast.. Mabey? lol).

So just swap your cams around and you'll be good to go.

I have heard stories of cam colors being swapped, but I have not seen it.
